6. Implementing Friendly and Fair Teaching

The initiative for implementing Friendly and Fair Teaching (FFT) can come from teachers, supervisors, students, teacher educators or from parents.

I use a the FFT questionnaire and the overview to reflect on my teaching. My goal is becoming a Friendly and Fair Teacher and implementing FFT in my lessons and if possible together with my colleages.

Using the five perspectives of Friendly and Fair Teaching, teachers create a positive learning envrionment. In a friendly and fair manner, teachers provide instruction and guide their students during independent work. They strive to make their students autonomous, competent and social. They guide the entire educational process as a coach.
